Throughout the semester, we host events with a variety of speakers which include KCs to top-tier international law firms. The purpose of such events is for our members to engage with professionals in the field as well as similarly interested peers and to extend their interest in a career in law.

In the 2023-2024 school year we have hosted a number of events which include:

• Champagne reception in collaboration with Citizens Advice and Rights, Fife and the ICLR

• Talk with Professor of Public International Law, Phoebe Okowa

• Talk with Dean of Admissions at Michigan Law, Sarah Zearfoss

• Virtual recruitment events with Willkie Farr and Gallagher, Milbank and Clifford Chance

• In person speaker events with Reed Smith, Vinson and Elkins and Debevoise &

  Plimpton

• Talk with Professor David Flint, solicitor at Inksters

• Women in Law Panel with St Andrews alumni

• Talk with Professor of Law at Cornell University, Valerie Hans

• An Application Workshop with current St Andrews students

• Speaker event with alumni barrister, Jane Lambert
